Since our founding in 2014, our goal has been to build expertise in technology and data for communication and marketing, making it profitably usable for clients. Much has changed since then, but one thing remains constant: the technical complexity and the rapid pace of change. Social media strategies and website concepts have increasingly shifted toward “data-driven” approaches and artificial intelligence.
To achieve this, MUNICH DIGITAL combines internal and external expertise and resources. Our aim is to provide the best possible team and optimal solution for each task. For us, strategy and implementation are closely linked: only well-founded strategic considerations enable real value-added solutions. Conversely, practical project experience is essential for a sustainably and successfully implemented strategy.
Since 2024, founder and CEO Christian Henne has been supported in strategic consulting and project development by Jens Christmann, an internationally experienced communications and marketing expert. In Munich, an internal team of data scientists and business intelligence managers is also available which can be supplemented as needed with additional resources in data and software engineering from Germany and across Europe.
Christian Henne has worked in marketing and communications for over 20 years in both internal and external roles. In 2009, he began his entrepreneurial career by founding a digital communications consultancy. In 2014, he established the MUNICH DIGITAL INSTITUTE, where he continues to serve as managing partner.
With journalistic background he has worked nationally and internationally for companies such as Nike, Telekom, Procter & Gamble, Philips, Evonik, and DATEV, and is now regarded as an expert in data-driven concepts for marketing and communication.
With Jens Christmann as a strategic partner, the MUNICH DIGITAL INSTITUTE offers specialized expertise in omnichannel, change and transformation.
As a consultant and project manager he helps companies enhance the impact and efficiency of their initiatives. To this end, Christmann developed the Performance Communications method, which enables data-driven, results-oriented communication with customers, employees and other stakeholders, achieving improvements in results by two- to three-digit percentages.
His international leadership experience in the USA, Germany and Switzerland across corporate affairs, marketing and commercial excellence brings a comprehensive perspective to the table.
